Operations Manager - Brian Mobley

About Brian...

Growing up Brian’s family moved around a lot. That’s what happens when
both your mom and dad are Marines! Semper Fi!!! By the time Brian was
in Junior High, in the early ‘80’s their family finally settled down in the
suburbs of Phoenix, Arizona. Brian graduated high school there in the 80's.

Brian began thinking back and he remembered a junior high field trip.
It was career day and the class went to the radio station in Phoenix, 98 KUPD.
It was a very exciting day for Brian because he met Dave Pratt, The Morning
Mayor for the radio station. Come to think of it, when he was in the 2nd grade,
he got a KISS Alive II record. It seemed very clear; Brian was meant to be in radio.

So in 1993 Brian completed a course at the Academy of Radio and Television
Broadcasting and he was on his way. His first radio gig was in the middle of
nowhere Idaho at a very small country station, YIKES!! From there Brian ended
up in Klamath Falls in 1996 working afternoons on KLAD (yep, yet another
country station).

By 1998 Brian was moving up and on to Sun Valley where he spent the winter
in the mountains snowboarding. It wasn’t long before he knew that he
needed to experience more of the radio world and for some unknown
reason he ended up back in Klamath Falls on The Rock.

In 2001 some unknown force landed Brian in Bend, where he worked for
another group of radio stations there. It’s a good thing that he went,
because that’s where he met Sheryl (who he fell in love with and she
later became his wife.) In 2003 Sheryl moved to Colorado. Brian,
having the hots for her, decided to follow her there.

Brian and Sheryl got married in Las Vegas in 2004 and started their new
life together living in Vail, Colorado. This is where Brian really developed
his love for the snow and snowboarding. After a few years there, they
realized just how expensive a ski resort town in the Rocky Mountains of
Colorado can be.

Trying to escape the high cost of living in Vail, Brian began exploring
other career options. Moving back to Oregon seemed to be a good
idea. So now here Brian is, married, living in Klamath Falls and back
on The Rock. He now has a son, Dillon, that was born Nov. 2006 and
Dillon keeps his them running! So now you know all about Brian.
